For what I thought was that Google understood that boredom doesn't sell and that being creative is the key to success. The reason for the change in the name is based on a post by Marrissa Mayer and Jeff Bertelma, to make sure the product name can quickly identify what the product does. "the named caused confusion for some because it doesn't clearly describe what the product does."

haven’t even mentioned Google’s many Beta products that are available
to the public for free. But when it comes to making 411 calls, it’s
nearly 7 billion dollar industry which can’t be ignored. And when
