Widsets Widsets! What? Not another useless product from start up tech company with a crazy name. Nope not this time. Widsets can be a solution to what cell phone users have been seeking, getting information from the web without the hassle. It uses the concept of mini-applications called widgets, keeps you updated on information on your favorite sites which is usually used for websites or on your desktops, Widsets brings this information to your cell phone. Plus the company is backed by Nokia.


With Widsets you can get the latest updates from your favorite websites, ie news, blogs, Wigab, etc. A main feature of Widsets is bringing any content, service of the web and placing it on your cell phone with very little coding. Widgets are a good concept. We have launched a similar product a while ago (http://www.myiota.co.uk) which brings internet browsing on the phone inline with SMS, and the application provides an access to a network of services which can be SMS or gprs. Although, we concentrate on Text Only, the appeal and the consumer uptake is very impressive.
