Just launched today, Leaflets is a mobile web-based browsing application that allows iPhone web browsing capability. Leaflets are designed to run fast over AT&T's EDGE network and you can use them anywhere, no wi-fi required. Basically, leaflets allows you to places the best online applications on your iPhone with great access and control, very similar to Widgets. It's great to see the amount of progress mobile browsing has made especially since the release of the iPhone.
Set-up
Point your iphone browser to Leaflets. You will need
to setup an account to allow for customization. You can select from a directory
of services such as Flickr, New York times, etc. More will be added with time
and feedback from users.
You can experience leaflets without a iPhone at
but you will need Safari 3 installed to get
the full experience.
Tip
A great suggestion from Micheal at TechCrunch is to customize your
profile on your computer to your likings. Saves time and touching the iPhone
which might be a problem for some.
Pros
- Great interface and ease of browsing great iPhone applications
Cons
- Can only do so that much with one finger. Mobile browsing interfaces still
need much improvement.
