Google set the trends with their search engine.
Google brought a new wave with their email storage capacities. And we
haven’t even mentioned Google’s many Beta products that are available
to the public for free. But when it comes to making 411 calls, it’s
nearly 7 billion dollar industry which can’t be ignored. And when
Google’s in the mix, it’s worth mentioning. If you’re thinking what I’m
thinking, then you guess right. Goog411 is Google’s answer to the 411
directory assistance with one difference; it’s free! It’s times like
these that wanna make me say, “Oogly Googly.” Ahm…well I’m elated.
Review:
While Goog411 is still in its beta testing, it
has a few kinks. It uses all the information available on Google maps
and directory to locate searches. The voice recognition software is a
bit analog, but knowing Google it will improve. Also when answering the
prompt queries, at times, it takes two or three tries to get the voice
recognition software to understand what you’re saying properly.
Bottom line:
It’s free. Its google. Use it.
Steps:
-
Call 1-800-GOOG-411 (1-800-466-4411). It’s toll free.
-
Follow the voice prompt instructions.
